Denise Schill

I have been painting since I retired from teaching. I do not pretend to be a professional artist. I paint for my own enjoyment and fulfilling a desire I had while a child in French schools.
In college, I received a minor in Art History and always have been interested in studying works of the world great Masters. Still today one of my interests is to find art related sites over the Internet.

I recently decided to add another dimension to my watercolor painting by using different material such as pen and ink, gouache and "papier collé" (glued paper).

I have attended a few watercolor workshops, but I am mostly self-taught. I have given a couple of workshops on this particular manner to work with collage. I hope to be able to share that great joy of painting with others.
